This series was released in late 2003. It was the first to include the year printed at the top of the picture side (obverse). This set, along with Series Two, is becoming increasingly more difficult to find in circulation. There are no known variants in this series.

Common Obverse Legend: "This gift certificate has a retail value of [5, 10 or 25]¢ and is redeemable only at your BX/PX." -- exactly the same as Series Two. This text changes in the next series. "2003" printed at top.
